Their story and magic
Neil is the powerful one of the Forest, and he dresses the part. A patched cap because he mended it a thousand times. Red boots because he walks where others don't dare.
The citrine at his neck almost beats. It's so close to his heart it seems part of him.
His brown cape is camouflage. Neil doesn't need to be seen. He needs to see. And from the Forest, you can see everything.
The orange pocket is his vault. Small, hidden, secure. The important things aren't displayed.
The mushroom-and-amethyst talisman is the same as Tadeo's. They are from the same clan. Those who know that wealth is where no one looks.
The red boots are his signature. In the brown and green of the Forest, the red says: I'm here, I know what I'm doing, I don't hide.
"The forest has everything you need. You just have to know how to look between the leaves."
