Their story and magic
Cloe is a Pixie who is orange from end to end. Orange hair, messy, shooting off in every direction as if she had just come back running from an adventure. Huge blue eyes with that little spark of mischief only those about to do something get. The orange outfit, warm, like a tiny sunset with legs.
She has a small flower in her hair you can barely see — as if she put it on in a hurry, without a mirror, because she had more important things to do. Things like jumping, inventing, imagining, laughing at nothing.
Cloe is the Pixie of laughter.
Real laughter. The kind that catches you off guard and you can't stop. The kind that makes your stomach hurt and your eyes water. The kind you can't remember the last time you had.
We became so serious. So busy. So "I have no time." We forgot that laughing isn't wasting time — it's earning it. That a fit of laughter heals more than a thousand conversations. That people who laugh together love each other harder.
