Abril

Abril is a Pixie with black hair tied in two unruly little pigtails that shoot off to the sides as if they had a life of their own. Blue eyes — huge, curious — the kind that ask without speaking. Two tiny flowers bloom from her hair as if springtime chose her to begin.

She wears green from head to toe, like someone who blends into what is growing. Her tiny hands are pressed together against her chest, holding a promise that hasn't been kept yet but already feels close.

Abril is the Pixie of new beginnings.

Not the grand beginnings with fireworks. The other ones. The silent ones. The ones that start with a "today I'll try again" said quietly, just for you. That first step nobody sees but that changes everything.
