Moon Shaman

Moon has a painted face and a shamanic drum in his hands. It isn't a shaman costume. It's what he is. This warlock of twenty-five centimeters, amethyst at his neck, satchel with herbs, and a wooden staff with feathers didn't come to give you an entertaining spiritual experience. He came because something in your body needs to heal and conventional medicine isn't enough. Because there are pains that don't show up in tests. Symptoms that come and go. Discomforts born from places doctors don't explore. His drum beats like a heart. Shamans know that rhythm is medicine. That the body responds to vibrations before pills. That sometimes what's missing isn't a diagnosis: it's reconnection. The two rose quartzes hanging from his staff aren't decoration.
