Why each guardian takes about a week

People often ask if we could do it in less time. We could. But it would not be the same, and here is the honest reason, with no esotericism.

The slow part is the face. Wool and felt do not forgive a rushed hand: an expression that is pushed too fast ends up flat, and you notice it even if you cannot say why. So we let each stage dry, settle and be corrected before the next one.

About a week is simply how long careful handwork takes when two people do everything and skip nothing. The time is not a story we tell. It is the work.
