Edmund didn't travel places. He traveled worlds. That's why the wizard's hat, that's why the red boots that no longer match anything but match everything he has lived. He is the senior. The one who already walked what you're about to walk, and what you don't yet know exists. His glasses are thick because he saw too much. Not in years — in layers. He saw the visible and what is behind it. He saw intentions, consequences, cycles that repeat in different lands under different names. The double citrine in his pockets is his personal compass. It doesn't point north — it points to where you have to go, which is sometimes backward before you can move forward. The red boots are his signature. A reminder that no matter how much you travel, you never lose what makes you unique. He didn't lose it. You won't either. "I traveled worlds searching for what I already had inside. That's the lesson that took me the longest. I hope you learn it faster than I did." If you feel you need a change in direction but don't know toward what — Edmund already mapped the routes. He just needs you to ask.
