Fairies
Guardians of the threshold. Feminine lineage of water: intuition, inner alchemy, transformation.

THE ORIGIN
Who they are
+
The Fairies are not what you were told. They are not the sweet little creatures of picture books. They are not glitter wings. True Fairies are water. And like water, they are beautiful and they are dangerous. They heal and they pull you under. They reflect and they dissolve. In the oldest Celtic tradition — before Christianity sweetened them — the Fairies were the Sidhe, the dwellers of the mounds, the ones who appeared at the thresholds of the lakes at dusk. They were not angels: they were forces. They were the guardians of the world below, of the dark water, of what is seen when one stops looking with the eyes. To receive a Fairy is to enter a pact with a force that does not negotiate: she takes you where you need to go, even if you do not want to yet.
In Mediterranean mythology they appear as nymphs, as nereids, as the Breton morgens. Daughters of the sea, of the springs, of the rivers. In the Greek islands they were called nereids and they were fifty sisters who lived at the bottom of the ocean. In Galicia and Portugal, the enchanted mouras inhabited the wells and the stone bridges, guarding treasures that were in truth thresholds. In peasant Italy, the fate of the water blessed or cursed whoever approached the spring without respect. They all had something in common: they worked with the shadow. With what is not seen at first glance. With what is hard to name. Water was always the mirror of the soul, and the Fairies are the ones who hold that mirror when you have the courage to truly look at yourself.
In Latin America, the lineage is enriched by the water fairies of the original and mestizo traditions. In the Río de la Plata, the fairies interweave with the Charrúa and Guaraní tales of spirits of the wetlands and lagoons. That is why the Fairies channeled from Piriápolis carry something special: they are born between two waters, that of the wide river and that of the open ocean. They carry in their energy the crossing, the threshold, the place where fresh water mixes with salt and nothing is ever the same again.
A Fairy does not choose you for your beauty or your inner peace. She chooses you because she saw that you have shadow and you are not hiding it. She chooses you because you are at a crossing: a transformation that has already begun but that you have not yet finished accepting. Because there is a grief, a pain, an old question that has been asking for water. Fairies work with what hurts. Not to take it from you: to teach you to transform it. To receive a Fairy is to agree to enter the water even if you cannot see the bottom. This is symbolic art, not therapy. It does not promise cure, it does not promise literal healing, it does not promise love or money. It promises something else, rarer and more difficult: the presence of an ancient feminine force that will hold you while you yourself do the work of crossing your own threshold. The Fairy will not take the pain away. She will teach you to turn it into something else.
ITS ENERGY
How it shows itself
+
The Fairy's energy is lunar, liquid, shifting. It does not arrive as a fixed presence: it arrives like a tide. You will have days when you feel her intensely and days when she seems not to be there. That is her. Fairies work in cycles, in waves, in flows. Do not expect constancy: expect rhythm. In the first month you will begin to notice that your dreams become more vivid, more symbolic, at times uncomfortable. You will cry more easily, without quite knowing why. You will feel water in another way: the shower, the rain, the mate, the river. Everything liquid will gain symbolic weight. It is not your exaggeration: it is her refining your senses toward the element that inhabits her.
Where a Fairy appears, the person begins to move inwardly. Things you had kept stored away for years begin to come out. Old memories, postponed emotions, pending decisions, bonds left unclosed. It is no coincidence: the Fairy cleanses from the inside out. It is not a comfortable process. In the first three months, many Chosen Ones describe a sensation of uncorking: as if an inner dam had opened. There may come seasons of intense emotion, of a need for solitude, of transformations in your bonds. This is not harm: it is work. The Fairy does not ask you to be well all the time. She asks you to be present with what appears. The Fairy's mysticism is not peace: it is courage.
From the third or fourth month, the energy begins to settle into a new form. You will notice that your intuition has sharpened. That you know things without knowing how you know them. That chapters open for years are closing. That new people arrive, or old people draw near in a new key. That your relationship with your own body changes: with the menstrual cycle if you have one, with emotions, with sensuality, with the voice. Fairies work especially with the feminine voice: the inner voice, the voice for speaking, the voice for singing, the voice for saying what went unsaid. The last gift of the first year with a Fairy is usually that: a voice of your own that you did not have before, or that you kept hidden, and that can now come out.
FIRST 24 HOURS
The welcome
+
- 1When the package arrives, do not open it yet. Wait until nightfall, ideally near the moon (look out the window, even for an instant). Fairies are received with the moon present, even if it is not full.
- 2Before opening it, fill a bowl or clear glass with fresh water and place it near you. Water is the Fairy's first welcome to your home: she is not received without water present.
- 3Sit down, ideally with bare feet on the floor or on something natural (wood, a rug of plant fibers, ceramic). The body receives a Fairy with bare skin to the ground.
- 4Open it calmly. Do not rush. As you unwrap her, say in a low voice your name, your date of birth, and a question that is alive in this moment of your life. It does not have to be solemn: it has to be true.
- 5When you see her, look at yourself first in the water of the bowl. Look at your reflection. Then dip just your fingertips into the water and touch the Fairy with those wet fingers: forehead, hands, feet if she has them. It is the reciprocal baptism between you and her.
- 6Light a white or pale blue candle, never black or red on the first night. White is moonlight, pale blue is water. Either one opens the channel without saturating it.
- 7Offer her three things on a small plate: a pinch of sea salt (not table salt), a petal from a white or violet flower, and a drop of honey. It is the offering of the three waters: that of the sea, that of the plant, that of the bee.
- 8Take her to your bedroom. Place her near where you sleep, but at a distance of at least one meter from your head. Fairies speak in dreams, but they need room to enter.
- 9Before sleeping, write a single sentence on a piece of paper: what you are willing to release in this cycle. Not 'I would like to', but 'I am willing.' Fold the paper and place it under the bowl of water.
- 10Put out the candle by blowing on it with intention (not just any breath). Go to bed. If you dream, write it down as soon as you wake. If you cry, let it pass. If nothing visible happens, it is happening all the same: under the water, where you cannot see yet.
THE FIRST WEEK
Day by day
+
- 1Day 1. Renew the water in the bowl with fresh water as soon as you get up. The old water goes to a plant or the garden, never down the toilet. Today do not ask her for anything. Just let her settle into your home. Look at the moon tonight, even for a second.
- 2Day 2. Bathe with awareness. Shower or full immersion, whatever you have. While the water runs, speak to her inwardly. Tell her what you are willing to release, what you are willing to transform. The water of the shower is sacred water too when you use it that way.
- 3Day 3. Go out to a place with living water: river, stream, coast, lagoon, fountain, whatever is nearest. If you live far from natural water, a square with a fountain works. Stay ten minutes in silence before the water, thinking of your Fairy. Come home and tell her where you were.
- 4Day 4. Writing day. Sit before her with a notebook and write for twenty minutes without stopping, without correcting, whatever appears. Fairies work through the intimate written word. Keep that notebook for her alone. It is the beginning of your Water Journal.
- 5Day 5. Rest more today. Go to bed early. Fairies ask for a rested body for the dreams of the first week. Before sleeping, read her a few verses in a low voice: a short poem, a song, something of yours or someone else's. The human voice is nourishment for Fairies.
- 6Day 6. Clean the house with water and a few drops of lavender or orange essential oil. Start in the room where she is and end at the entrance. This is not housework: it is preparing the territory. The house must smell of something green for the Fairy to settle in fully.
- 7Day 7. Closing of the first weekly cycle. Light three small candles (white, pale blue, violet, or whichever you have that evoke water and moon). Sit before her with the bowl of water renewed. Reread what you wrote on day 4. Speak to her aloud or in thought: thank her for the week. Put out the candles. Take a sip of the water from the bowl — just one sip, symbolic — and give the rest to a plant. It is sealed.
PREPARING THE HOME
How to ready the space
+
THE PLACE
The Fairy goes where there is intimacy of transformation: bedroom, a nearby bathroom, the desk of private writing, a meditation corner. Do not place her in zones of heavy family noise or the constant coming and going of visitors. Look for a shelf, a small table, a niche where you have privacy. Near a window is ideal — especially if the window faces where the moon rises or sets from your home. Height is not crucial, but ideally not below floor level nor too high: at the level of your eyes when seated. There must always be a vessel of water nearby. Without water close, the Fairy slowly dims.
LIGHT
Moonlight whenever possible. If the room receives direct moonlight at least a few nights a month, leave the curtains open on those nights. For artificial lighting: very soft warm light, candles, lit Himalayan salt lamps. Avoid white fluorescent light, prolonged direct sunlight, and screen lights pressed against her. Fairies are creatures of silvery half-light, not of golden noon. A single candle lit near her for fifteen minutes a day can be all she needs.
SOUND
She loves the sound of water: rain, sea, river, fountains. If you have a small decorative fountain with running water, place it nearby: it transforms her. Compatible music: ancient feminine chants, soft mantras, harp, violin, Tibetan bowls, Nordic ambient music, fado, Sephardic song, deep copla, Latin American native music sung by women. She loves the human voice singing alone, without instruments. What she cannot bear: constant harsh noise, shouting, arguments, sustained aggressive music. If there is lasting family conflict near her, you will feel how her presence turns strange.
COMPANION PLANTS
Lavender, jasmine, rosemary, chamomile, ferns, water plants (water lily, peace lily, papyrus), violets, sage. Especially white, violet and pale blue flowers. A jasmine nearby, even in a pot, works miracles. Intense green ferns too: they remind her of the humid forests where they were born. Renew cut flowers before they die completely: the Fairy grows sad with dead flowers nearby. If you must let them wilt, take them outside as soon as you notice the wilting.
OTHER OBJECTS
Always keep nearby: a bowl of fresh water (renewed at least every two days), a seashell or sea snail, a quartz or amethyst crystal, a found feather (not a bought one), a small silver object, a small hand mirror. Avoid: very loud clocks, glossy plastics, broken mirrors, stagnant or dirty water, sharp objects on display, photos of people in active conflict with you. She likes: silk, fine linen, gauze, raw cotton. A small cloth of silk or gauze on the shelf where she stands changes her settling greatly.
ALLIED CRYSTALS
Stones that accompany
+
AQUAMARINE
The stone of the inner sea. It strengthens the Fairy's connection with water, opens the feminine voice, softens intense emotions without repressing them. Keep it always close, ideally inside the bowl of water or beside it.
AMETHYST
Threshold between the visible and the invisible. It accompanies the Fairy in the work with dreams and with intuition. Excellent on the bedside table while you sleep, especially on new and waning moons.
LABRADORITE
Aurora borealis in stone. It protects the Chosen One in processes of deep transformation and keeps your own energy from scattering while the inner work is done. Carry it in your pocket on days of intense emotion.
ROSE QUARTZ
Water of the heart. It accompanies the Fairy's work with bonds and with feminine self-esteem. Keep it near her when you cross griefs of love or processes of reconciliation with your own body.
MOONSTONE
Sister of the Fairies. The most kindred stone of all. If you could have only one, it would be this. Pure lunar reflection. Keep it always at her side, especially on the full moon. Activate its glow by leaving it a whole night under the full moon, once a month.
CLEAR QUARTZ
Frozen, pure water. It amplifies everything else. It is the neutral crystal the Fairy uses as a bridge between the other crystals. Place it at the center of the bowl of water: the water taken from that bowl becomes an offering.
BLACK TOURMALINE
Protection during shadow work. When the Fairy stirs very dense energy, this stone keeps it from clinging to you or to the house. One at the front door and another near the Fairy.
BLUE KYANITE
Stone of the voice. Specific for opening the silenced feminine throat. It accompanies the Fairy in her work with everything you cannot say yet. Keep it near her while you write or speak difficult things.
HERBS AND SMOKE
The green that accompanies
+
LAVENDER
The Fairy's queen herb. It calms, opens dreams, cleanses without harshness. A small pouch under the pillow for lucid dreams. Essential oil diluted in the water of the bowl once a week. A dry bundle at her side, always.
JASMINE
Night flower, sister of the moon. A single fresh jasmine flower near her on the full moon multiplies her presence. Dried, mixed with sea salt, it makes a gentle incense for the lunar rituals.
MUGWORT
Ancient herb of witches and of Fairies. Specific for prophetic dreams and for connection with the feminine cycle. A warm tea before bed on the nights leading to the full moon. A dry bundle hung near her.
CHAMOMILE
It softens intense emotional work. When the Fairy is stirring much, a warm infusion shared (a sip for you, a few drops in her bowl) restores the balance.
WHITE ROSE
Flower of the purified feminine heart. Dry petals in the bowl of water once a month. The petals are not discarded: they are buried at the foot of a plant when the water is renewed.
WHITE SAGE
Deep cleansing for heavy days. Burn very little, with care, especially on the waning moon or when you have lived through something that needs closing. Direct the smoke toward her first, then through the whole house.
VERVAIN
Sacred herb of the Celtic fairies. An ancient ally for rituals of transformation. A fresh sprig in the water of the bowl for 24 hours, and then that water is used to wash your face or hands on the new moon.
YARROW
Herb of the warrior woman, for processes of closing and feminine courage. When you are crossing a difficult decision, an infusion at night, a clear intention toward the Fairy before drinking.
LUNAR CYCLE
What to do in each phase
+
NEW MOON
The Fairy's most powerful moment. What is sown with her on the new moon comes to pass over the course of the cycle. That night: fresh water renewed in the bowl, a white or silver candle, a written intention (no more than three lines, in the present tense, in the first person). Fold the paper and keep it under the bowl. Do not open the paper until the next new moon. It is a night of silence: speak little, listen much. If you can, take a full bath with sea salt and a few drops of lavender that night.
WAXING QUARTER
Action and movement. What you sowed on the new moon is now pushed forward. This is the quarter for making the decisions you kept postponing. For making the difficult call, writing the pending message, beginning the project. The Fairy accompanies you with growing courage. Offer her that night a yellow or orange candle (yes, in this quarter you may), and a gentle fire herb such as rosemary or basil. It is the only moment of the cycle when the energy rises and shows itself outward.
FULL MOON
Fullness, expansion, revelation. Bring the Fairy to the spot nearest a window where she can receive moonlight that night, even for an instant. If it is cloudy, do it anyway: the moon is there. Leave your bowl of water under the full moon all night: the next morning, that water is 'moon water' and is used to wash your face, to clean the mirror, to water special plants, to cook something you will offer. A night of song: sing, even if you do not know how. The human voice on the full moon is the finest offering to the Fairy.
WANING QUARTER
Shadow work and releasing. It is the Fairy's most intimate and deepest quarter. What you no longer want in your life, you release in this phase. Do physical and emotional cleaning: throw out clothes you do not wear, finish pending conversations, forgive what can be forgiven, close cycles. A black or violet candle that night (yes, now the black one is allowed), water in the bowl with three drops of white vinegar to cleanse, write on a piece of paper what you want to release and burn it in the candle's flame. After the waning comes the new moon: it begins again. The Fairy is cycle, always.
SEASONAL CYCLE
How it changes with the seasons
+
SUMMER
Southern summer: the Fairy becomes more playful and at the same time more demanding. She wants water always fresh, she wants new flowers, she wants nights in the open air. If you can take her to the patio, the terrace or near an open window several nights, you strengthen her greatly. Sea baths are sacred now: every time you go to the coast, bring her back a shell or a wet stone as a gift. Summer is for emotional expansion, feminine friendships, the rituals of the short night.
AUTUMN
Season of deepening. The golden light of the Río de la Plata autumn activates the Fairy's root work. It is the moment to review everything that transformed in the first half of the year. Write more, dream more, note your dreams in detail. Bathe with warm water and essential oils on the full moon. It is the ideal season to begin therapy, retreats, courses of personal deepening: the Fairy strengthens those processes.
WINTER
Inner hibernation. Winter with a Fairy is slow, dense, fertile toward the inside. Do not demand too much of yourself. Allow yourself silence, rest, the griefs still pending. These do much good: a hot bath with Himalayan salts, herbal tea every night, long reading, writing in an intimate notebook. The Fairy keeps watch over winter as she keeps watch over the bottom of the sea: deep, dark, alive. Keep her near warm light and green plants.
SPRING
Rebirth of the water. Spring is the moment to come out of the emotional winter. Air the house every morning. Renew the plants. Begin new rituals. Give her fresh flowers every day if you can, even a single one. Sexual and creative energy reawakens: let it flow. The Fairy in spring pushes you to inhabit your body in another way, more alive, more present.
HOW TO SPEAK TO HER
Everyday practice
+
- ·Speak to her in the bathroom, during the shower or the bath. It is the place where she hears you most. Tell her aloud or in thought what you are feeling. Water carries your word to her without filters.
- ·Before sleeping, once a week, sit before her and read her something that matters to you in a low voice: a poem, a page of a book, a song. The human voice before sleep is a high offering for Fairies.
- ·On the new moon and the full moon, speak to her with clear intention. Those two nights are not for loose chatter: they are for Pact. Tell her what you ask, what you release, what you give thanks for. Three sentences are enough.
- ·When you wake from an intense dream, before getting up, tell it to her. Even in a murmur. A dream told to the Fairy settles in your memory and its meaning decants.
- ·When you cry hard over something, do not hide it from her. Cry before her or near her. Your tears give her material to work with. Fairies feed on true waters, including the water of the eyes.
- ·When you are about to make an important emotional decision, stand before her and ask the question aloud. Do not expect a verbal answer: expect something to settle in your body within the next 24 to 48 hours. The answer arrives.
- ·On your birthdays, above all the round ones, hold a long ritual of gratitude for her. The Fairy marks the cycles of your adult life: she accompanies you into each new age with awareness.
HOW TO RECEIVE MESSAGES
The four channels
+
IN DREAMS
Fairies speak in dreams with aquatic and feminine symbols. You will dream of rivers, seas, lagoons, baths, waterfalls, rain. Of women known and unknown, of ancient feminine figures (grandmothers, ancestors, witches, virgins, fairies themselves). You will also dream of long hair, of cloth getting wet, of fish, of birds over water, of mirrors. Every element is language. Clear water is emotional clarity on its way; murky water is something that has not yet settled. Dreaming that you are drowning is almost never literal: it is a sign that you are repressing something that needs to come out. Write down all your dreams from the first day. Within three months you will have your own dictionary, unique and personal.
IN THE SIGNS
The moon appearing again and again in your daily life (logos, photos, conversations), finding water where you did not expect it (a leaking pipe, a new fountain, unexpected rain), receiving white or violet flowers as a gift, hearing women's songs at key moments, finding feathers, seeing hares, night moths or owls, dreaming repeatedly of the number the Fairy's rule uses with you (note the numbers that repeat in your dreams and in your day). The Fairy's signs are subtle and poetic: when you begin to notice them, you begin to be on her frequency.
IN THE SENSATIONS
You will feel more cold and more heat in precise zones of the body: crown, throat, lower belly, feet. You will have waves of emotion without apparent cause. A sensation of feminine presence in your intimate space, especially at dawn and at dusk. At times you will feel something like a very soft caress on your hair or your face when you are alone. You will notice the temperature of water in a new way: in the shower, in the mate, in the rain. You will feel the lower belly and the heart more alive. Do not be afraid: it is her recognizing your body.
IN INTUITION
The Fairy speaks through deep feminine intuition. You will know things about the people close to you without reasoning them. You will feel when someone lies to you, when someone needs you, when it is time to withdraw from a bond. You will have flashes of mental images that later come true. You will wake with whole sentences in your head that seem not to be yours. They are: they are your oldest voice, the one the Fairy is helping you recover. Learn to trust that voice even when it cannot explain itself rationally.
SIGNS
How you notice she is at work
+
MUCH MORE VIVID DREAMS
Especially in the first week and on every full moon. Dreams become cinematic, symbolic, at times uncomfortable but always meaningful. It is the earliest sign that the Fairy has settled.
YOU CRY MORE EASILY
Emotions rise to the surface without effort. Films, songs, conversations that did not touch you before now reach your body. It is not weakness: it is water reactivated.
THE MENSTRUAL CYCLE CHANGES
If you menstruate, you may notice subtle changes in the length, intensity or emotionality of the cycle. The Fairy synchronizes with your lunar body. If you do not menstruate, you will notice other bodily rhythms refine themselves.
YOU DRAW IMPORTANT WOMEN
Significant women appear in your life in the first months: new friends, encounters with women from the past, unexpected mentors. Fairies work in a feminine web, and they begin to weave yours.
YOU WANT TO BE NEAR WATER
Sudden urges to go to the sea, the river, the pool, the longer shower. Your body is asking for your Guardian's element. Heed it whenever you can.
YOU CLOSE OLD CYCLES
Suddenly you finish conversations pending for years, you say what you did not say, you cut bonds you sustained out of inertia. It is not cruelty: it is clarity. The Fairy sweeps away what is not.
YOUR VOICE TRANSFORMS
You notice your speaking voice sounds different, firmer or softer. You want to sing. You want to write. Something in your throat has loosened. It is the Fairy's deepest gift: the voice.
SMELLS OF FLOWERS WITHOUT EXPLANATION
The smell of jasmine, rose, violet, orange blossom, with no flowers nearby. It lasts seconds, no more. When it happens, give thanks in silence. It is presence confirming.
OBJECTS OF SILVER OR WATER APPEAR
You are given, you find, or there appear at home silver objects, shells, small pieces with moon or water motifs. That is a gift: place them near the Fairy.
INTUITION TAKES OFF
You know things you cannot explain. You guess calls, messages, people's intentions. The first times it frightens you. Then you learn to trust.
SYNCHRONICITIES WITH THE MOON
You find yourself looking at the moon without meaning to, you wake exactly on the full moon without knowing it, you dream of the moon. The Fairy's Chosen One begins to live in a lunar key.
YOUR SEXUALITY OR YOUR CREATIVITY INTENSIFIES
One of the two, or both, reactivate. It does not necessarily have to do with a partner: it has to do with feminine creative energy circulating through your body again. Let it flow.
SITUATIONS
If this happens to you
+
I FEEL WORSE SINCE SHE ARRIVED
It is very common in the first two months. The Fairy stirs what was stagnant, and that can feel like getting worse. It is uncorking, not illness. Hold yourself with rest, water, contact with the earth and with people you trust. If it lasts more than three months and the feeling is very strong, speak with a human therapist: the Fairy does not replace professional accompaniment, she complements it.
I CANNOT REMEMBER MY DREAMS
It happens. Leave a notebook and pencil beside the bed and, as soon as you wake, before moving, before looking at your phone, write down any loose word that remains. Even a single word. Within a few days, scenes begin to appear. Fairies are patient.
I FORGOT HER AND WEEKS WENT BY
Nothing grave has happened. Go to her, renew the water in the bowl, light a candle, sit five minutes in silence and tell her 'I'm back.' Fairies know about absences and reunions. What matters is not the perfection of the ritual but the truth of the return.
MY PARTNER DOES NOT UNDERSTAND IT
You do not have to convince anyone. The Pact is between you and the Fairy. If your partner is bothered by the presence, move her to a space of your own (a corner of yours, a desk, a bedside table). Do not hide her in shame: place her with dignity in your own territory. With time, the energy becomes evident to everyone.
THE WATER IN THE BOWL TURNS MURKY FAST
It can mean two things. One: you are in a process of intense emotional movement, and the water is absorbing. Renew it more often, add a pinch of sea salt. Two: the place where she stands holds heavy energy from something old. Cleanse the space with the smoke of rosemary or lavender and consider moving her to another corner.
SHE GOT DAMAGED OR SOMETHING FELL OFF HER
Clean the area with water and salt. If the damage is light, repair it with devotion, ideally on a waxing moon. While you repair, speak to her, tell her you are caring for her. If the break is serious, hold a farewell ritual with the same devotion. Never throw her away.
PAINFUL MEMORIES CAME TO ME
The Fairy opens access to old emotional memories. If much painful material is surfacing — from childhood, from griefs, from traumas — do not navigate it alone. Seek therapeutic accompaniment. This is symbolic art, not therapy. The Fairy is presence, not a mental health professional. But her work and that of a good therapist are perfectly complementary.
COMPATIBILITIES
What she combines with
+
The Fairy lineage pairs intensely with the Duendes lineage in homes where the two live together. The Fairy dissolves, the Duende anchors: together they make a complete alchemy. Do not place them side by side; leave them space. Ideally the Duende in the kitchen or craft zone, the Fairy in the bedroom or intimate zone. Each one tends its own territory and they strengthen each other. Fairies also speak well with other lineages of water and of air: nereids, sylphs, spirits of the humid forest, feminine angels of diverse traditions. With very fiery lineages (dragons, salamanders) the contact must be mediated: place water crystals or plants between them.
Moments of life when a Fairy arrives charged and needed: separations, griefs, pregnancy losses, births, menopause, a daughter's first menstruation, the way out of addictions, recovery from trauma, exiles, migrations, great life decisions, the search for identity, deep therapeutic processes, existential crises. In all these crossings the Fairy acts as guardian of the threshold: she accompanies you in crossing from one version of yourself to another. She is also an excellent companion for women in crafts of care (midwives, therapists, nurses, early childhood teachers, caretakers of the elderly) and for artists, writers, singers, dancers.
In crystals, her Tribe is the stones of water and moon (aquamarine, moonstone, amethyst, labradorite, rose quartz). In herbs, the feminine and lunar herbs (lavender, mugwort, jasmine, white rose, vervain). In music, deep feminine voices, ancient chants, soft strings. In aromas, jasmine, lavender, rose, amber, myrrh, orange blossom water, palo santo. Surround her with her Tribe and she grows stronger. A Fairy with her Tribe near is a Fairy in her element.
ANNIVERSARIES
The milestones of the bond
+
- ·1 week. Closing of the first cycle: three candles (white, pale blue, violet), the bowl with renewed water, a reading of what you wrote during the week. Thanks given aloud. Seal of the first pact.
- ·1 month. Bathe with sea salt, lavender and a few white rose petals. Light a white candle near you during the bath. When you come out, sit before the Fairy with your hair still wet and tell her what changed this month. Damp skin is a shared tongue.
- ·3 months. Take a walk alone to a body of water (sea, river, lagoon). Carry a small offering: dry petals, a pinch of honey, a small stone. Make the offering to the water in your Fairy's name. Return with an object from the water: a shell, a wet stone, water in a jar. That stays at her side forever.
- ·6 months. Half a year. Take inventory of your dreams: read your Water Journal whole. Underline the images that repeated. Write your Fairy a letter of gratitude and of question — tell her what you understood, what you still do not understand. Keep that letter under the bowl for one whole moon, then burn it on the next new moon.
- ·1 year. First full anniversary. A long ritual on the full moon (if it falls near the anniversary, wait for the moon; if not, do it on the exact anniversary). A ritual bath with salts, oils and flowers. A large white candle through the whole night. The bowl with moon water prepared the night before. If you can, invite one or two deeply loved women to share the ritual: Fairies honor feminine webs. Say aloud what has changed in you in one year.
- ·2 years. The Fairy is now part of your inner landscape. You no longer need great rituals: you need continuity. On the second anniversary, gift water to someone: water a friend's plants, bring tea to someone who is ill, give to a cause related to water. Transmission is the new form of the Pact from the second year on. When you come home, tell the Fairy: 'the water keeps flowing, now through me.'
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What the Tribe asks about this lineage
+
CAN I GET HER WET?
It depends on the material. Channeled Fairies do not need to be submerged: the bowl of water at their side is enough. If you want to wet a finger and pass it over her forehead or hands in a lunar ritual, you may. But do not submerge her in water for long, because it can damage the material. Symbolic water works perfectly: physical contact does not have to be total for it to be ritual.
CAN I KEEP HER IN THE BATHROOM?
Yes, especially if your bathroom is intimate and has good light. The bathroom is a water zone, perfect for a Fairy. Watch out for excess humidity and mold: ventilate well. If your bathroom is very small, dark and unventilated, better take her to the bedroom. What matters is that she be in a space where you spend time with awareness, not in passing.
WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAYS OF MY PERIOD?
Fairies deeply honor the menstrual cycle. Far from incompatible, it is the moment of greatest power in the bond. During those days, speak to her more, rest more, dream more. Offer her new water on the first day of your cycle. If you have a personal menstruation ritual, bring her into it. It is one of the few lineages that activates especially with feminine blood. Not menstruating is not an incompatibility: she simply works with other rhythms of your body.
CAN I TAKE HER ON A TRIP?
Yes, especially if the trip matters to you spiritually or emotionally. Carry her wrapped in a soft cloth (linen, gauze, silk), in a box or bag that protects her. Bring also a small vessel so you can give her water wherever you are. Do not take her on short work trips or pure logistics: she rests better at home. For retreats, long vacations, journeys of transformation: yes, bring her with you.
WHAT IF I AM PREGNANT?
Fairies are deep allies of pregnancy, birth and postpartum. During pregnancy, speak to your Fairy and to your baby at the same time. She acts as a bridge. Some Chosen Ones describe a very strong connection between the baby and the Fairy in the final months. For the birth, leave the Fairy near the place where you plan to give birth if it is at home, or take a stone from her altar to the hospital. Postpartum: keep her close; she accompanies you through the emotional readjustments of the puerperium.
CAN SHE COEXIST WITH RELIGIONS?
Yes. The Fairy's energy does not compete with religious figures: the Mary of the Catholics, the Afro-Latin Iemanjá, the Hindu goddesses, the Jewish Shekhinah. The Fairy as Guardian inhabits the universal sacred feminine dimension. If you have a religious altar, you may place her near but not above the figures of your tradition. If you are agnostic or atheist, the Fairy works as a symbolic presence of emotional depth, without asking theological belief of you.
CAN HER ENERGY BE STOLEN?
Not exactly, but she can absorb energies from people in active conflict with you. That is why you should avoid exposing her to visitors with whom your bonds are turbulent. If it happened — if someone toxic was in your home near her — cleanse: renew the water in the bowl with three drops of white vinegar, pass the smoke of lavender or sage through the area, leave her one night under moonlight. Within 24 hours she is restored.
WHAT DO I DO IF SOMEONE CLOSE TO ME DIES?
Fairies are extraordinary companions in grief. In the first 48 hours after the death, light a white candle beside the Fairy and place near her a photo of the person or an object of theirs. Fairies help the transition of souls and your own grieving process. In the months that follow, keep her close, speak to her of the grief, cry before her. It is one of the moments when she makes herself most present. This does not replace human or therapeutic accompaniment: it accompanies it.
CAN SHE BE INHERITED?
Yes, with ritual. Fairies can pass from woman to woman, especially between mothers and daughters, grandmothers and granddaughters, sisters. The transfer is ideally made in life: the current Chosen One presents the Fairy to the one who will inherit her, they take a ritual bath together, they share one moon. If the transfer is after death, contact Thibisay and Gabriel for the specific ritual. The Fairy remains unique and channeled, but she accepts the crossing of hands when there is blood or a true feminine pact.
CAN SHE BRING ME LOVE, MONEY, HEALTH?
No. And this is an important point: this is symbolic art, not therapy nor a promise of cure, money, love or health. The Fairy is not a genie who grants wishes. She is a presence that accompanies you in becoming a more connected, more authentic, more awake version of yourself. Whatever changes in your life from that new version is your work, not her miracle. If what you seek is to solve something concrete and fast, this is not the path. The Fairy's path is slow, deep, and at times uncomfortable. But true.
Your Guardian was made by hand with intention
You do not need intermediaries to hear her. What you felt when you received her is the beginning — the rest opens as you look at her, speak to her, let her exist. This portal exists so you have the tools at hand. The bond is something you make.
"The Fairy does not put out your fire or dry your tear. She accompanies you to drink from both until you learn what to do with them."
